What is Mediation / Family Dispute Resolution?

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process that brings together parties in a dispute with a neutral third-party mediator. The mediator acts as a facilitator, helping participants engage in constructive dialogue, explore solutions, and reach agreements that work for everyone involved.
Family Dispute Resolution is a form of mediation specific to parties who are in the process of separating. An accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner assists the parties to resolve any disputes which have arisen as a result of their separation or divorce. All parties must attempt FDR prior to filing an application for parenting orders with the Court.
Meet our Mediators

01. Empowerment:

Mediation empowers you to have a voice in the resolution process. It allows you to actively participate in decision-making, ensuring that your needs and concerns are heard and addressed.

02. Relationships:

Unlike litigation, which often results in adverse outcomes, mediation focuses on finding common ground and preserving relationships. It provides a platform for open communication and collaboration, fostering understanding and mutual respect.

03. Cost-Effective:

Mediation is generally more cost-effective than traditional legal processes. It can save you time, money, and emotional energy, offering a streamlined approach to resolving disputes.
