Russell Booby Pricing Structure

Lawyer / Mediator

Mediation – Half Day – (4 hours)
$797.50 (Incl. GST) per party – $1,595 total
  • Pre-mediation conference of up to 1 hour with each party by video conference
  • Mediation for 4 hours by video conference or in-person
  • Reading of any relevant documents
Suitable for:
  • Family law matters without complex issues, such as house and garden financial case or parenting disputes where the issues are limited to live with / spend time arrangements and parental responsibility
  • Workplace disputes with limited issues / parties
  • Local Government / Planning Disputes
  • Family Provision Disputes with limited issues/ parties
  • Mediations not being held by shuttle conference
Mediation – Full Day (10am – 5pm)
$1,292.50 (Incl. GST) per party – $2,585 total
  • Pre-mediation conference of up to 1 hour with each party by video conference
  • Mediation from 10am-5pm in-person or by video conference
  • Travel within 120km of Narrabri, New South Wales
  • Reading of any relevant documents
Suitable for:
  • Family law cases involving both parenting and financial issues
  • Protracted non-family law disputes or dispute with multiple issues /multiple parties
  • Mediations being held by way of shuttle conference
Additional Fees:
*Additional time needed for the mediation, if available, is charged at $110 per hour incl. GST.
*If a venue is required, this can be arranged and charged to the parties at cost. A list of suitable venues can be provided upon request.
*Travel time over and above 120km from Narrabri will incur an additional cost of $0.78c per km + $50/hour

Carla Giles Pricing Structure

 Lawyer / Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner / Collaborative Coach

Family Dispute Resolution – Half Day (4 hours)
$725 (Excl. GST) per party – $1,450 total
  • Pre-mediation conference of up to 1 hour with each party by video conference
  • Mediation for 4 hours by video conference or in-person
  • Reading of any relevant documents.
Suitable for:
  • Family law matters without complex issues, such as house and garden financial case or parenting disputes where the issues are limited to live with / spend time arrangements and parental responsibility.
  • Conferences which are not being held by shuttle.
Family Dispute Resolution – Full Day (10am – 5pm)
$1,175 (Excl. GST) per party – $2,350 total
  • Pre-mediation conference of up to 1 hour with each party by video conference
  • Mediation from 10am-5pm in-person or by video conference
  • Travel within 100km of Newcastle CBD.
  • Reading of any relevant documents.
Suitable for:
  • Family law cases involving both parenting and financial issues
  • Protracted family law disputes or disputes with multiple issues /multiple parties.
  • Mediations being held by way of shuttle conference.

Our Cancellation Policy:

Due to the nature of our work, payment of fees is requested at the time of booking the mediation. In the event the dispute is deemed not appropriate for mediation, or mediation does not take place, you will be refunded any amounts paid, less any cancellation fees (see cancellation policy below).
Regrettably, when a cancellation or rescheduling is requested without sufficient notice, it hinders our ability to serve other clients. Our cancellation policy is in place to honour the time commitment of all parties involved. It outlines the procedure for requesting a cancellation and details applicable cancellation fees. This policy is implemented to ensure fairness to our business and those clients who may have sought an appointment.
We understand that situations can arise in which you must cancel or postpone your scheduled event.  Due to limited appointment availability, we request that we are provided with adequate notice as this allows us to fill that appointment.

If no prior notice is given, or the notice is not provided within the minimum notice period of 14 days prior, you will be charged a cancellation fee for the missed appointment as per the cancellation fee schedule below.

Invoicing and Payments:

If a refund is being issued to the parties, the refund is apportioned equally between the parties unless alternate arrangements are made and agreed in writing.
